I normally try not to schedule gigs very close to each other, but I couldn't pass up the chance to open for Helsinki's The 69 Eyes at Jaxx November 1. So if you missed the HuG show, or you can't get enough of us, or you just like The 69 Eyes as much as I do, I'll have advance tickets Friday for $18 ($20 at the door). All ages, doors 5PM.

Dark Dissolve will be performing this Friday 10/9 at Jaxx Nightclub in Springfield, VA (www.jaxxroxx.com) , opening for Hanzel Und Gretyl. We'll have our brand new CD-EP for sale. I just spoke to Jay at Jaxx, and Dark Dissolve will be opening for the mighty Hanzel Und Gretyl on Friday October 9. Do I need to tell you I'll be selling tickets? We played the HuG show last time around, and it was really fun. We should have our debut 5-song CD ready by then, too. |

Issues between Blaxmyth and their tour promoter mean this show isn't going to happen. I can tell you more if you're one of those people I talk to in real life. Disappointing, but we will be trying to arrange our own CD release show somewhere, probably late August/early September, depending on how venues work out. |

I am really excited that Dark Dissolve will be one of the opening acts for Blaxmyth at the Black Cat Main Stage on August 26. Blaxmyth features Freak (formerly known as Fred) who used to be in Strange Boutique. They call their sound Ghetto Metal, and the stuff on their MySpace has a Body Count feel to it. It should be a really fun show. The Black Cat has tickets on sale Friday 6/26. |

Another FREE show for you. Todesbonden will be playing Artomatic this Saturday 6/6 on the first floor Electric Stage at 9PM.
Artomatic is at 55 M St. SE Washington, DC at the Navy Yard Metro (Green Line) above the new Baseball stadium exit. I highly recommend Metro this Saturday, because the Nats will be finding new ways to score a zillion runs and still lose. That means parking costs will jacked up. |

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to the Dark Dissolve/Hanzel Und Gretyl show last Friday, especially everyone who bought tickets from us. Local band ticket sales make a big difference at Jaxx, so THANK YOU! Our show went well, and we were pleased with the audience response. I'll have a few songs recorded off the sound board on the Dark Dissolve MySpace soon.

Todesbonden finished a respectable 4th out of nine bands in the voting for best atmospheric/symphonic album of 2008 in the Metalstorm voting. Thanks to everyone who voted! We'll be playing Jammin Java in Vienna on March 22.
Also, in case I haven't nagged enough, Dark Dissolve is still selling tickets for our Jaxx show opening for Hanzel Und Gretyl. Jah! |

Todesbonden is nominated for the best symphonic album of 2008 by metalstorm webzine. We only have until March 1st to get in as many votes as possible so I am begging you please register up and vote for us!!!
I see that there are already 450 votes which means that other bands found out about this before we did so we need to catch up in order to win!!

Dark Dissolve will be one of the opening acts for Hanzel Und Gretyl at Jaxx March 13 (Friday the 13th!). It's Jaxx,(www.jaxxroxx.com) so we have to sell our own tickets in order to keep in their good graces and hopefully play more shows there. (It's also the only way get get any money from this show.) Tix from us are $15 ($18 at the door.)
I will almost always have tix on my person, and we have PayPal buttons set up on our MySpace and web site (www.darkdissolve.com), and I'll mail the XuberX is also on the bill, so if you like them better, you can buy tix from them. Spell bound will also be selling tickets from both bands on Saturday nights at their door.
Our acoustic gallery show went over far better than I had hoped. We had an appreciative standing room only crowd in the small gallery. Big thanks to all who came out to support! There were several LJ friends there. I'll forget people if I try to list everyone, but you know who you are. Thanks! |
